If you’re doing a Coyote swap on your 2011-2014 Expedition or Navigator, you’d usually use an actual 11-14 Mustang/F150 PCM, right?
Well, Ford was kind enough to have the same hardware in the 11-14 Expedition PCMs as the Coyotes and we know how to make it run a Mustang tune.
Simply send us your PCM and we’ll return it with it ready to run a Coyote 5.0 in your 11-14 Expedition/Navigator !
This process retains factory PATS function so there’s no theft light flashing(like what happens when you use a different Coyote PCM with PATS deleted) as your original keys will work, and the original VIN of your vehicle is retained so it will pass emissions in an OBD check.
- Currently the ABS and air bag lights stay on when doing a Coyote swap in these vehicles. The ABS light does go off and ABS and traction control functions as normal, if you follow a certain procedure, contact MIM
- 2011 Year vehicles may have to re pin 5 wires at the PCM body connector for this to work since the 2011 5.4 PCMs have these wires in different locations than the 5.0 PCMs
